ati:

Good post. Cordoba was one of the places where Jewish culture flourished in Spain during the Middle Ages.

2. Re: Celebrating our Jewish Heritage.

I have visited Cordoba several times and have become very interested in our Jewish past there. I would like to know more about Jews living in Spain today, as well as those who were forced to leave. Also, is the synagogue in Cordoba being rebuilt?

Ruth:

Many years ago there was a magazine in English in the Costa del Sol. I remember an article that said that the law was changed in the 1960's that made it easy for the descendants of Jews to come back to Spain easily. Many did come back to Malaga. Today there is a Jewish synagogue in Malaga and the Jews practice their religion openly. I usually see many walking in the park, with men using the skull cap to show that they are Jewish.
