Hi Guys,

I wish u all great spring time!

I'll be staying in Dusseldorf in May for 5 days.

What places I should/I can / You reccomend to visit out of city?

May be you can suggest travel agency specialaizing in day trips.

Take the train (for schedules: www.bahn.de) to either Koeln (Cologne) or Koblenz and take boat upstream to one of the small towns along the Rhein, and return by train to Duesseldorf.

My personal preference would be Koblenz to Bacharach, others may give you differing recommendations.

I live quite close to duss in Monchengladbach. i undertsand duss is fab for bars and the better part of the year for sitting alfresco. Dont do Monchen, there isnt much here anymore. Cologne is great for shopping and has a wonderful cathederal
