Train station in Wuerzburg

Will be traveling from Frankfurt Main HB to Wuerzburg HBF on Inter City Express with a quick connection to Steinach Rothengurg on regular train. Are these two train tracks/levels close together?

Also have a quick connection time in Augsburg HBG to Muenchen HBF, Are these train tracks close together?

The DB itinerary page indicates you'll need to move between platforms 5 and 2; since the numbers aren't adjacent, the tracks can't be either, so you'll need to exit one platform and get to another - but it shouldn't be terribly far, or difficult. You can check platform numbers yourself; on the results page for Frankfurt to

Rothenburg, click on the white arrow in the red box for whatever itinerary you wish to see the platform numbers.

DB timetable knows about the layout of the rail stations and suggests only connections one can normally make. What seems to be too tight for you is often fully by purpose to provide good connections (from the viewpoint of the commuters).

There is a station database for Bavaria where you can lookup information for any rail station there.

…bahnland-bayern.de/die-beg/projekte/die-sta…

If you have the result shown for a single train station you can change in the URL (address line of your web browser) the lang=de into lang=en and will get this page largely translated in English.

Everything noted above is correct, but one caveat: If you are handicapped or have trouble with steps, Wuerzburg has no platform elevators. Some staircases have sort of a moving belt to rest your luggage, but it is not ideal.
