Direct train from Hamburg to Nuremberg via Eurail?

Hello! I just have a simple question:

Is there a direct train (Eurail) from Hamburg to Nuremberg? Or do I have to pass Berlin and Leipzig on the way to Nuremberg (from Hamburg)?

Thank you!

www.bahn.com will have train information for all of Europe including Germany. Just enter the appropriate information in your query and you will see all of the possible options. You can also force travel through a city if you want to. If you click on the > to the left of your options, further trip details will be shown including possible transfer points.

There are direct trains (via Hannover-Kassel-Fulda-Würzburg) as it is the main route from Hamburg to Munich.

Note that there is no such thing as Eurail: it is just a marketing name used to sell over-priced train passes.

Each country in mainland Europe has its own train system, and you get the best prices by booking direct with the train operator.
