Travel to GP with a baby!

Hi, we decided for a last minute trip to GP over Christmas , we've got a 14 month old baby so just wondering how easy/difficult would it be to explore the area (sightseeing, mountains, cogwheel train etc). Would the pram be of any use (I assume there is snow :). Really wanted a mountain break but don't want to put too much strain on the baby.

Any comments and recommendations are much appreciated.

Hi Olga F,

A pram would be a lot of trouble, I think. This is ski season, and all the cable cars and the Zugspitzbahn are PACKED with folks with skis and ski poles. Trying to fit in a pram is going to be difficult if not dangerous, lol.

Some young parents use a baby wrap to tie the baby to mom or dad, and tour that way. Babies seem to love it because they are nestled so close to mom/dad, and it's very warm. They are not at all stressed by it; they normally doze off right away!

Have fun as you plan!
