Rugby World Cup 2007

We are going to the Scotland match next September in St Etienne and wish to find out good places to stay and places of interest around the region. Any ideas about the easiest way to get there from Edinburgh/Glasgow would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

we can't find any accommodation in st-etienne, staying in lyon.

have found klm flights from Glasgow via Amsterdam which seem to be reasonable, booked directly via klm website

Which hotel are you staying at in Lyon. What did you think of the Wales game?

we have booked the Campanile , it's pretty basic but £40 a night, the campanile in glasgow is fine. I noticed that there are some etap hotels in st etienne that you can only book 3 months in advance so might try and book a couple of rooms for the night of the match.

As for the wales game! well it was an improvement but we should be scoring a couple of trys in a game like that. mind you after watching ireland yesterday we should be happy with the win.

Indeed, to your comments about the Ireland-France Rugby yesterday.....

There was only ONE way to get revenge after a match like that. We managed to dispose of a couple of good bottles of French wine.

Take THAT!!!!

never mind, I'm sure you'll have more success at Murrayfield, and if you could of course beat a certain other team......can cope with losing to anyone but them
