Ok, so i'll be Nice during Grand Prix weekend in a couple of months and I'm trying to figure out the best way to move around via bus in getting to and from the apartment I have rented.
I will be staying at the intersection of Blvd de Magnan and Ave. de Bellet in and around the Magnan section of town.
From what I can gather, walking down to Ave. de la Californie makes the most sense to catch bus # 23 which looks to take me to Gare de Nice directly if I'm reading the bus schedule correctly. But how do I get back to my apartment from the train station?
From what I saw by reading the bus schedule was that certain buses only go in one direction and do not double back. If this is the case and I am reading this correctly, since I wouldn't be able to take Bus #23 back to my apartment, what bus would I need to get back home?
Also, I plan on being out late on Friday and Saturday. On Friday I plan on being in Monaco until the wee hours and will take bus 100 back to Nice and on Saturday Night I plan on being in Cannes until the wee hours as well and will be taking bus 200 back to Nice. My question in regards to that is it seems that those buses don't drop me anywhere near my apartment and more in the city's center. Are there any other buses that can get me home at around 4 in the morning from where bus 100 and bus 200 will let me off in Nice?
I'm really kicking myself for booking this apartment without doing more research on the city but what's done is done and I now have to work around it. Thanks in advance for any insight.
