catching a 6:30 AM plane from Marseilles

Is it possible to get a taxi to pick us up at a hotel in Aix at 4 AM and take us to the Marseilles airport to catch a 6:30 AM plane? What would the taxi charge for 3 passengers plus luggage?

Would it be better to spend our last night at a hotel in Marseilles?

I would probably prefer to spend the night at a hotel airport as Marseille is just about the same distance from the airport as Aix.

Google Marseille airport which will then give you full details of on site hotels.

Marseille airport web site has good information on access. You could check with your hotel in Aix about a taxi that early (probably possible, don't know how much). The airport is halfway between Marseille city and Aix and there are likely airport hotels, too. There is a shuttle bus from Aix that starts at 4:50 am and takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport.

One night at one of the airport hotels is probably cheaper than a taxi. If you don't mind a no frills hotel I recommend the Ibis Budget.

It is some 25 km from Aix to the airport, so I would think a taxi during the day might cost €50, but more in the early hours.
