Baby Superstores Near Aix-en-Provence

Can anyone recommend a Baby Superstore in Aix-en-Provence (or the surrounding area). We are expats in the Middle East and the price/quality/selection here is quite poor. We'd like to know options for toys, clothes and everyday items for a one year-old toddler.

We will have a car for part of our trip, so any suggestions within a 20 minute drive would be great!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Others probably know more than me, but there's Toys R US/ BabiesR US in Marseille, Avignon and Nice.

You could also have a look in normal big out of town supermarkets as they sell a lot of non-grocery items - we've bought children's clothes there in the past, but we were looking for cheap and cheerful rather than high quality!

There are children's clothing stores and a couple of toy emporia as well as a Giant hypermarket in the Plan de Campagne "big shed" shopping complex. It's about a 15 min drive from central Aix.

The other store to look out for is Aubert -- even bigger than Toys R Us in France:

And yes -- make sure you visit a Carrefour or Auchan or Leclerc -- these hypermarches are like Walmart supercenters.
