I have a couple questions ( Im still sorting through back-posts , so I apologize if these are obvious questions )
We need to leave paris on the first morning train to caen, on a Wednesday in april. Rent a car in caen , then return it the next morning and train back to paris.
First : we are staying in latin quarter...best way to get to Gare St Lazare. How much time should we allow?
Should we purchase train tickets to caen in advance from here ( Chicago), or just walk up to get tickets. Is it easy to figure out at St lazare? ( which train and where it is )
Second: When we get to caen, I understand the car rental is across the street. Should I book now through Autoeurope? Site looks pretty easy..even though ill have to rent for 3 days..thats ok.
We're spending the afternoon/evening around the beaches and countryside....then staying in a nice small hotel in st mere eglise.
Getting up early in the morning and driving back to caen to return the car.
Can we just walk-up and buy our return train tickets to paris ?( Just because we aren't exactly sure when we'll be ready to get on the train should any delay happen)
