For those venturing to Lille with a toddler and/or family in tow this Xmas/Holiday season, I share from our recent and short visit to Lille.
First, consider visiting the zoo – free – as well as the wonderful playground just next door to the entrance. Lots of kids, worth a visit (during non-nap time…!). Area nearby also includes places to grab something to eat and/or drink (hot or cold). Worth a visit….
For dinner (e.g., on a Sat evening), we stumbled upon Fuxia l'Epicerie, an Italian restaurant (some French influence on the menu) while walking around Lille (old section) on a Sat afternoon, and booked a table that evening with our toddler. Enjoyable ambience from staff/customers, good food including children’s menu, nice wine list….and not the only one with a toddler in tow. Recommend.
