My husband and I are planning on visiting Toulouse in mid august with our 3 year old. Were it just the 2 of us, we would sticky with the regular tourist attractions, but with a 3 year old, it becomes harder to find suitable places to see interesting things and entertain her. While museum visits are something she is used to, we prefer more modern and colourful art to ancient and darker paintings, for example. A restaurant is picked not necessarily for its gastronomy but theme. For now we tend to make these types of adjustments to our tourism.
So I'd like to ask for your advice. We have our own car and will stay in Toulouse as a base for travel. So far, I think the city of space and the natural history museum are a must. I also think we will take a day trip to Carcassone, since a real life castle will surely impress her.
Any ideas? restaurants? parks? farms?
Thanks in advance.
