While reading the thread here about remembering your first trip to Paris, I began to reminisce. I'm just not sure if one of my memories is quite clear. When I first went to Paris in my early twenties (almost 20 years ago) I was with a tour group, and we were taken to many sites on our first evening. I remember going to a wonderful fountain that was all lit up - perhaps Place de la Concorde? There was classical music being played at the fountain. This would have been in early July, so I'm not sure if it was for a special occasion or if this was typically done (it was too early for Bastille Day). I know there are musical fountain displays at Versailles - are there any in Paris?
