Hen weekend in Manchester

Any ideas for good nights out in Manchester. Thinking of eating at The Living / Dining Room one evening, anyone been there? Any other ideas for nights out?

The Living Room is said to favoured by Premier League footballers, but on some evenings you may find it closed to the general public.

One of the most pospular places is the Deansgate Locks where there about 6 bars all next to each other.

The food at The Living Room is lovely and the crowd is quite eclectic - footballers to old lotharios - or maybe thats the same thing?!!

If you are noisy hens with flashing headresses etc, you probably wont be welcomed at The Living Room.

Another good idea is a chinese meal in china town and a flutter at the casino there.

How about a spa treatment or two at the Lowry beforehand?

Have a great weekend!

The Livingroom is great for coctails, the food isn`t bad, but it`s not that great for the price either (the cocktails are though! You should defently go for the cocktails if you like cocktails). Think the previous tip on you maybe not being welcomed in full hen gear is a good point though, and Saturdays are pretty hard to get in as well unless you are on the guest list or arrive early. And it`s not that full of footballers!!! I think I have seen about three... (think most of them go to the VIP room though!)

La Tasca just near by (basically the restaurant next door to the Livingroom, well one along) is a good alternative for a meal though, a bit more fun atmosphere for a hen night type outing! (and the Sangria is very nice!) Though if you like Spanish food then El Rincon is the best (on Longworth Street, just off Deansgate but down the other end from the Livingroom).

And yep, as previous tips have said, other good places are the Printworks (tends to be quite student filled, but plenty to chose from!Bars that is, not students), Deansgate Locks, and the Gay Village (loads of choice there!).
