Try the Fern Inn. Scallops are wonderful. Decent wine list.Relaxed setting and friendly service. We went in Easter and are going back soon.

Do you usually need reservations for these restaurants on a Saturday night? We'll be in the Pitlochry area in mid-October during the Autumn festival.

Hi Well travelled, Yes, did go to Fern cottage , had a lovely meal - I had the scallops as recommended followed by the belgian waffle and ice cream all lovely. Husband enjoyed his lamb.

Thanks for the recommendations, only sorry I didn't get the chance to try all of those suggested . I've since heard more good reports on the Moullin Inn and East Haugh House so will try them next time.

Thanks

F

Glad you enjoyed it.

Sunboy-I would book ahead as the Enchanted Forest light show is on throughout Oct and the town will be busy.

Regards

R.

The Moulin Inn is worth the visit especially for an occasion. It has had good reviews and the food is great.
