I'd recommend the Merchant City area for lots of restaurants and bars in one location and also just round the corner from the Corinthian if you do fancy partying until 5am!

For italian, the Italian Kitchen, the italian cafe and Qua are all within 20 yards of each of other. Merchant Square is just across the road with lots of other restaurant/bar options. Metropolitan do great cocktails and you could stop off for a drink in Citation on the way to the Corinthian. (Citation & Corinthian also both have restaurants in them which aren't too expensive if you don't want to be wandering around all night).

Massimo is a lovely Italian restaurant just across the road from The Kings theatre so a few minutes from your hotel. Go onto 5pm.co.uk as you can usually get a good deal, they are offering 25% discount for Saturday and the original costs are already very reasonable.

It's very cosy and the food is fab and plentiful (the waiters are very easy on the eye too and very friendly)

Also just a bit of information but this weekend is the Septemeber Bank Holiday Weekend for Glasgow so should be very busy so you will have a great time!

It's just a local bank holiday with most people getting Monday off, it may be a bit busier but everything will be open with slightly reduced hours on Monday.
