Hotel for hen party Travelodge?

Has anyone stayed at the Travelodge Gateshead in swalwell? It's coming up at a really good price and wondered how far it is to the nightlife?

It sounds like this is one at the Metrocentre. It's not really very close to much to be honest and would definitely need taxis into town, though they shouldn't be very expensive - probably £10 or so. However, it's definitely worth trying to get a more central hotel - either of the Jury's Inns, there are two central Premierinns and a Travelodge on the Quayside - it would make for a much nicer trip!

Also try Jesmond area, handy for the toon but also lots of bars and restaurants so you can start off there before moving on, there are much more central hotels -enjoy let us know how ya neet went,

there are 2 premier inns on the quayside , but also one in the centre of toon, Newcastle is an easy walking city so anyone of them would do, there is also a few new ones springing up
