Coming to Newcastle for the Andre Rieu concert and will be staying at Jurys Inn Hotel in Scotswood Road. I am wondering if Pinocchio's restuarant on Westgate Road is in walking distance of the hotel and then is it walking distance to the Metro Radio Arena. Also at the end of the evening is the hotel walking distance from the concert venue?
About a 10 minute walk to Pinocchio's, Jury's Inn is under 10 minutes from the Arena. You'll have to retrace your steps to go from restaurant to Arena

Have a look at the Google Streetview of the area - it's post industrial. The only food there is the occasional burger van
If you go up Marlborough Crescent past the Life Centre there are a few reasonable eateries - but that area is the Pink Triangle which ISN'T named after Pink Lane.
Alternatively head to the top of Forth Banks for Sachins
Unless time is an issue you will find that most restaurants are relatively close as Newcastle is a compact city.
There are many restaurants for instance in the Quayside area.
A couple of extra suggestions very close to the hotel are Akbars if you like Indian (a favourite of mine and poles apart from a typical curry house). A Taste of Persia is on Marlborough Crescent (a couple of minutes away). I've never been there but is was recently featured in the Guardian as a good place to eat.
