Sunday roast / kid friendly restaurant in Bath?

Hi. My itenerary for July in Cotswolds makes us be in Bath on Sunday. We are Jewish secular family, but we still dont eat pork. We are travelling with two kids (5 and 10).

Are there any recommendations for a place where we could have a Sunday meal, English style, not porkand child friendly?

If I am asking for too much, I can take no for an answer.

Thanks. Yuri.

Plenty of places to eat in Bath (over 100), and there will be plenty of choices without forcing you to eat pork.

It is normal for pubs or restaurants serving Sunday lunches to offer a choice of three or more types of meat and poultry.

By the way, your recommendations about old GPS maps of Kent and East Sussex would do were very true.

Thank you.

The Crystal Palace on Abbey Green and the Royal Oak on Summerlays Place, Widcombe (about a 10 minute walk from centre of Bath) are both child friendly and do Sunday Roasts.

Would probably be best to reserve a table for Sunday lunch.

Menu's are on their websites:

I have a group of 20 adult italian students which I'm taking to London from Italy on 29/05/14 and on 31st May I'm planning to take them to visit Bath on a day trip. We wanted to go by train since it's quicker than by coach how do I buy the train tickets in advance?
