Hi
I'm going to a concert on Saturday (20th June) in the Sherwood pines forest (forestry commission) and a need a nice hotel close to the venue for the saturday evening.
Ive had a look online but can't seem to find any nice ones nearby! We don't really want to say any further then 30-40mins away from the park - can anyone recommend one nearby? Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Sherwood Pines?? That's at Clipstone
You could try the Clumber Park Hotel, or look for somewhere at Edwinstowe or Wellow.
Otherwise you are looking for a B & B in Clipstone, or Hotel or B & B in Mansfield.
You have probably got something sorted, but if not there is a Premier Travel Inn on the other side of Mansfield. That would be within about 30 min of Sherwood Pines.
This new hotel is supposed to be great: www.dakotanottingham.co.uk
It's probably about half an hour away.
