Best walks to enjoy the Peak District

In July I'll be visiting the Peak District with a friend. It's our first visit and we are very much looking forward to it! Of course we will not be able to see it all during the 5 days we will be staying, but we would like to see the most unforgettable, charming and impressive places! That's were we would like your help. Which walks do you recommend?

Walks up to 8 miles (12 km) are preferred and of medium difficulty or less. We will be staying in Bakewell and will be dependent on public transport. A visit to Chatsworth House is on the program, so if there is a walk we can combine that with, we would like to know about it.

Thanks in advance!

Wow, you really rate high as an expert, Phil! Thanks for all your input and information on public transport. We really appreciate it. It makes things a lot easier.
