(OP from smoothtalk) Going to Brighton - any top tips?

The moderator are clearly having an off-day, so i'm trying to resurrect your original post here.

You asked ["I'm going to Brighton with my girlfriend later this month for three days. We've got a few things planned, but would be delighted to get some insider advice, such as where's good to eat, any really great pubs, unmissable one-off shops, the chilled out end of nightlife (bars rather than clubs), anything of historic importance that might not be glaringly obvious! "]

Well there are lots of unmisseable "one-off shops ;-) in the North Laine area - quirky, funky, eccentric, unique.

Nicer places to eat:(my subjective list) but you'll find all these listed/reviwed here http://www.brighton-eating.com/

Terre Terre (Vegtn)

Regency (top Fish n Chips)

Saucy (Hove)

Leonardos (best italian in Hove)

Moshi Moshi (best Sushi in Brighton!)

Black & White Bar at Hotel Seattle (@ the Marina)
