pre-theatre meals

please can anyone recommend a restaurant for a meal before the 7.30pm showing of the Lion King at the Lyceum theatre. The hotel is Bloomsbury Park Hotel, 126 Southampton Row, WC1B 5AD.

Any sort of restaurant really (not sushi)

Many thanks

Do have a look at Sarastro at 126 Drury Lane or their sister restaurant, Papageno at 29-31 Wellington Street. The food and ambience may not be to everyone's taste but it will be an experience.

If the Lion King is where I think it is, I would recommend going to the Cafe in the Crypt at St. Martin's in the Field (on Trafalgar square). The food is very tasty, the location interesting, and the prices are reasonable.

M'thinx TopTable web site has a pre-theatre search option.

J. Sheekeys used to be good for pre-theatre, & barely a halibut's throw from theatre.
