Best Breakfasts - A new site

Looking for a fine English breakfast has always exercised the minds of the great and the good on TALF. Now (thanks to Time Out - who else?) the answer has arrived in the shape of www.londonreviewofbreakfasts.blogspot.com.

Reviews and comments to delight even the most picky of black pudding lovers although I didn't see the Swedish blonde refered to in the review of Carluccio's when we were there earlier this week!

Also good on the subject:

…typepad.com/eggbaconchipsandbeans/

Scrolling down, there is a list of places with pictures of the food on the right. Chips are evaluated!

Ooh, brekkie, yum!

Thanks for posting.

Adam, are you familiar with any of the eateries/caffs on King's Cross Rd?

The end up there by the station.

Anemone,

Not over familar with Kings Cross Road. I recall quite a few in the vicinity of The Islington Travelodge. Em might be a better person to ask when she stops giggling at the silly names of the breakfast reviwers.

Just where KXRd intersects with Pentonville Road, & two doors along from the Poor School Theatre is a bistro which may be open for brekkie.

Slightly further along Pentonville Road towards KX station & certainly open is a well established trad caff sat between the KX Thameslink station (bus stop outside) & the Scala on the corner of PRd & KXBridge Rd.

If you are feeling adventurous, wander along the side of the Travelodge into St Chad's Place - you'll find a bistro cafe in converted Victorian building - cobblestones are authentic. Cannot remember the name, but it looks nice (bit loft style) & they may do breakfasts.

The racing cert is the trad caff.

Guess this means I shall have to test the caffs out and post reviews...all in the interests of fellow TALFers, of course:)
