Day pass for trams/buses?

Hello - going to Blackpool for day on Saturday - according to Blackpool transport website a day pass for buses/trams is only £3.50 - that seems very cheap for this day and age? is it correct/

You can use your BT passes anywhere between Fleetwood and Lytham and inland as far as Poulton.

Yes. Saver tickets are valid on all Blackpool Transport service.buses and trams. 10 minute brisk walk (Newsagent to your right will save you a pound off your saver pass!) to Promenade, where there are trams and buses. No 1 's stop is closer to Big Blue. Or train (SQU to BPB …nationalrail.co.uk/service/…search )gives the shortest walks, but there is only 1 per hour normally leaving at 34 minutes past the hour. £1.50 Personally I would call a cab. 01253 401000, or 01253 292929 fare around £5.

thanks.. as we are only there for the day its cost effective for us to get bus rather than taxi as part of our day pass. is there a bus stop outside the airport and where exactly is the nearest shop selling the bus passes please?

There are bus stops close tom the airport, but depends on which direction you wish to travel. They are served by the No 7 and No 11 buses. For Big Blue you need to walk to the Promenade, cross the road walk towards your right and take a No1 bus or tram (Alight Burlington Road West) The shop selling bus saver tickets is Thoughgoods, which is on your right after bridge - Squires Gate Stn. Hi! All prices on his page - blackpooltransport.com/tickets/blackpool-one

English Bus passes accepted on Buses. (Funding for trams withdrawn except Blackpool residents, but No1 bus does the same route)
