Wristband v's tickets at Pleasure Beach |
|
hi Wondering if anyone can help. A group of us are going to Backpool in July and will be visting the pleasure beach whilst there. Some us of will definately be buying the unlimited wristbands, but there are others in the group who are not into larger rides and attractions, does it still work out at better value to buy the unlimited wristband or to buy the appropiate number of tickets for each ride? how much is each ticket? Thanks |
|
Tickets are £1 each and different rides need different amounts of ticket. Example Valhalla 6 Infusion Coaster 8 Big One 7 Ghost Train 3 Bought online a wristband is £25 on a Sat and £21 other days during July www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com If you dont want to go on big rides then tickets is probably best but remember buying wristband on the day is £5 more

Hi, You can buy a strip of 12 tickets and that would get you on, for example: The carousel,(2) the monorail, (2) the galloping horse thingies,(3) the ghost train(2 or 3) and the kids' log flume (2). Anymore than that and you're better off with a wrist band. Hope this helps. :)

So I take it a strip of 12 tickets is £12? Seems a lot of money for the larger rides...

Yes, the strips of tickets are far too expensive to use on the big rides. You should only get the ticket strips if you are not going on the bigger rides - anything other than the kind of visit I described in my earlier post, (mine, basically as I don't do big rides!) and you should always get a wristband. :)

I do not go on the big rides either. But when I go I get the unlimited wristband as it means you can go on the same ride for than once if you want to. I think there is enough rides to go on even if you miss all the big ones out.

What would you guys recommend then? - We will be in Blackpool for 4 days and plan to be in the Pleasure Beach for at least one (maybe 2) of the days. We have a 5 year old daughter and a baby. My daughter will want to go on a lot of the smaller rides. My husband and I will also want to go on a lot of the rides with her. We'll likely give the bigger rides a miss.

Buy a wrist band and get your monies worth out of it. Go on each ride a few times and enjoy yourself. The first I went I had a wrist band and as soon as I finished some rides I could not wait to go back on them. I probably would not have went back on them if I had to pay for them individually.
