Think you may find that although the Pleasure Beach may be busy, it is the evening and night when the Hen & Stag groups start getting loud and fill the Town Centre rather than the south end.

hi im been going here with my family 5 r whice r children my son was 2 at the time is now 18 yrs ever yr in aug. we love the place and we r goin this year its great 4 all the family .

either north or south are quieter than central. I have friends with a hotel on that road and they love the tranquilty! Quiet, but not so quiet to be boring.

Not so good as it used to be. Entertainment now rubbish and kids left to run wild.Our family used to love it. Not now, standards have definitely slipped.

i have to add it is 2 years since we have been, Before that we had been 9 times. Hopefully its picked up again we r thinking on giving it a go this year.

super family entertainment, , swimming pool ,sauna, jucuzzi ,amusment arcade all under one roof staff polite and helful

very clean and tidy .just a pity about the night porter miserable inpolite unhelpful and rude.

i wouldnt advise it,children are left to run wild the furnitue is in a poor state.not for familys.

When you approach a hotel reception desk, you can get a good impression of what the rest of the hotel will be like. A smiling and friendly staff usually indicates that they are confident about what they offer and do not spend a good proportion of their day taking flak from the residents.

At The Grand Hotel Holiday Flats, the only smiling face was the receptionist. The concierge or porter was abusive ignorant and very unhelpful presumably he only works nights i must presume he has to sleep the alcohol off during the daytime.
