Keswick is a beautiful part of the Lake District with great walks,shops,cafe"s,restaurants,cinema and a theatre,plus more.
There is plenty of accomodation in Keswick from guest houses to hotels.
I can recommend a good guest house called "Glendale Guest House".
The guest house is located 10 mins walk from town,quiet area.
The owners of the guest house are very friendly and have great knowledge of the area.The breakfast is wonderful and will fill you up.
There are great walks around Keswick.I recommend you try Derwent circular walk.It starts from Keswick boating landing stage.There are great views on this walk from Derwent Water to Catbells mountain.On my profile there is a review/photo"s of this walk.This is a flat walk.
Try Catbells mountain for a trip out.Its more like a big hill Catbells mountain.Catbells mountain is a popular walk in Keswick.Review/photo on my profile if you wish to view.
There is a market in Keswick on Saturdays and on thursdays during main season.
There are boat trips in Keswick,head for Keswick boating landing stage,situated close to Keswick theatre.
If you want to stroll in the park,Hope Park is popular with its beautiful gardens,seating areas,plus pitch&putt course,crazy golf and bowls.
Also take a walk to Fitz Park,riverside setting.There are views towards Skiddaw and Latrigg.There is a bowling green,tennis courts and putting green in this park.It also has beautiful gardens with seating areas.
If you want a short flat walk,head to Keswick boating landing stage,then to Friars Grag.The views are beautiful from here.
There is a motor museum and Pencil museum in Keswick.

If you like theatre and want a night out,Keswick has a nice theatre.
There is also a indoor climbing wall in Keswick if your up for a challenge.
