I have lots of questions about Newquay and St. Ive's for all of you:
I'm thinking of going to Newquay at the beginning of July with my boyfriend for a relaxing 3 day holiday. Will the beaches/water be warm enough at that time?
Can anyone recommend a good company to go with for surf board rentals and lessons? It will be my first time surfing, how much time should I set aside - 1/2 day or full day, or even two days?
I've seen the accomodation reviews on tripadvisor, but can anyone recommend a place for us to stay if we want to be somewhat close to the town centre but where it is relatively quiet at night still?
Also, where could we rent bicycles in the town? We would like to cycle along the coast toward St. Ive's. Is it plausible to think we could get to St. Ive's in one day? Will any companies let us cycle one way to St. Ives with our luggage, so that we could stay in a hotel there that night? (And hopefully the cycle company would pick up our bicycles in St. Ive's for us, or do we have to cycle back to Newquay?)
Thanks for your advise.
