looking for suggestions for end of May

Me, my Wife and possibly the Dog (most likely not) are looking for a fun trip to celebrate her graduation from Grad School in May and are thinking about the Cape. With so many options and areas to choose from we are hoping for some suggestions. Maybe an area with an active nightlife? Any hotel, cottage, etc suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Also what is the atmosphere on the cape towards the end of May? When does it get really busy?

Thanks folks

What a great plan. If you are going pre-Mem. Day weekend then the Cape will not be busy. Though most posters on this forum prefer the Lower Cape (and we enjoy it too) for this time of year you might like to book an Inn or B&B in Falmouth. That way, you'll have plenty to do in Falmouth, adjacent Woods Hole and Hyannis plus you will be located with easy ferry access for a day trip to Martha's Vineyard. You might enjoy renting a couple of motor scooters and touring around the island.

Alternately, choose Provincetown for the next best spot to find activities and entertainment. If you take the dog read back through the posts of the last week and you'll find recent input about where to stay with a dog. Before Mem. Day you can romp on the beach with your pooch. Just check, whereever you stay, that the dog can remain in the room unattended. Don't know where you are from to give you advice on how you will find the weather but be aware that there will be a brisk wind for your walks on the beach and layers of clothing are in order. You'll find more the info than you'll need if you have time to read back through this forum. Have fun with your upcoming celebration!
