Welcome to the MONT TREMBLANT TRAVEL FORUM
And I see that you are Brand NEW Member of TripAdvisor... so a BIG Welcome Aboard as well !!
As my esteemed colleague RICKB has said, May is Spring here in Eastern Central Canada... and winter is over.
Depending on WHEN you plan to visit in May though there can be a BIG difference in our "average" temperatures.
According to the TA MONT TREMBLANT TRAVEL PAGES... and the TRAVEL GUIDE (see the buttons to the left of this screen)... the Normal Averages are as follows...
MAY - LOW = 6 C (43 F) - HIGH = 17 C (63 F)
And to give you an idea of the months on either side...
APRIL - LOW = 0 C (32 F) - HIGH = 9 C (49 F)
JUNE - LOW = 11 C (53 F) - HIGH = 22 C (73 F)
Early May is usually very Spring like (ie Tulips coming into bloom)... while Late May can be "almost" Summer-like... particularly so if we get a heat-wave.
Mid May's Victoria Day Weekend is the unofficial kick-off to Canada's prime tourism season... before that and you'll find a lot of things are on a Reduced Spring Schedule... or still CLOSED for the Winter Season.
Also be aware, that as May begins to warm up... so also marks the beginning of our dreaded BUG SEASON (Blackflies, Mosquitos)... so quite honestly, not the best time to be in the mountains, woods, etc... but if you insist... you'll want to make sure you pack clothes accordingly, along with plenty of bug spray.
Hope this is helpful,
