Not much for Halibut in the Campbell River area.
If you contact Tyee Marine they'll be able to recommend a relaible operation.
Avoid anyone working for the Oak Bay Marine group if you want anything more than an expensive boat ride.
A few fellows have got halibut recently in the Campbell River area, but typically ist's a west coast fishery. There have been quite a number of Tyee's caught in the last short while. I'd not recommend trying to fish around Parksville - try either the west coast or Campbell River.
Agree with Sam - the best bet is check Tyee Marine for a recommendation.
