We will be spending 2 nights at SLT as part of a 7 day road trip.Because we will be doing so much driving it would be good to be able to walk to an eating venue in the evening-casual or more formal.We like European,American type food- any suggestions would be most welcome. Also we plan on taking a boat trip from Zephyr Cove- how far is this from our hotel?

Well out on teh dock is Blue Water Bistro. It used to be really god. Lately it's been getting mixed reviews. It was taken over by BW from the previous owners.
Across the street is relaly good Italina - no view - called Teps.
.2 to your right and across the street is Freshies
Heidi's Pancake House in the Bijou shopping center is great for Breakfast. It's on your side of the road about .2 of a mile left.
Burgers or pub food:
The Brewery Across the street turn left .3 mile

Big Daddy Burgers. Across the street .2 mile.
Then about 1/2 mile away is the Marina where you can eat at Riva Grill among others.
Zephyr Cove is left on 50/Tahoe Blvd about 5.5 miles, go past Stateline and the casinoes.
