visiting late July 2012-good places to eat

I went to SLT once before about 5 years ago...couldn't find a good restaurant easily. I didn't do much research before...my bad, but I am looking for good food and atmosphere. Nice steaks, salmon, and good drinks...fun atmosphere, but not for children please. We like to have a couple of drinks, then a nice dinner...not dressy though. Anyone have ideas? I hear there are a few places in the casino's, which we didn't check out last time as we don't gamble, so didn't really think about it. Your help is greatly appreciated. Going within the last 10 days of July

One other place for lunch and a great view is Lakeside Grill at Camp Richardson. The food is mediocore, but the atmosphere is nice and it's on the way to Emerald Bay and Eagle Lake.

Blue Water Bistro indeed used to be good but was closed at the end of the season last year and re-opened with new ownership - not the same. Gets terrible reviews no so I suggest using caution.

Cafe Fiore is good, small and romantic. No View

Evans is the best restuarant in SLT on the way to Camp Richardson on the left side of the road in a little cottage. Make reservation.

Lakeside Grill is actually located off Park Ave on Lakshore Blvd near Stateline. It's only open during the summer. The Restuarant at Camp Richardson is called Beacon Bar & Grill. I was there today. Personally I thought it was really lacking & tho I have recommended it in the past I will not be doing that again. TONS of KIDS
