This depend much on what you expect from your stay in the area. Early April will still be snow, but usually nice weather, but it can still be cold even during the days. Keep in mind that this year Easter is End of March/beginning of April, so there will be lots of people around then. The cablecars are all open the first week of April, then most of them will close - thus a short season this year because of the early Easter and the economic struggles in the neighbouring countries, the area's main markets.
I would say, for you living in Qatar, seeing and experimenting snow would be a welcome change. And even if you would be in the area after most of the cablecars close for the season, with only two nights this would give you just one day to experience so the still open options would be more than you could do in this short time. You could still enjoy e.g. Diavolezza, a high mountain experience, or Corvatsch. Have a look at www.engadin.stmoritz.ch . With two or more nights, you would qualify for the ski pass as a reduced prize of CHF 25.00 per day compared to CHF 73.00. This would already safe you some money with only just visiting Diavolezza, which is CHF 33.00 for non-skiers, and if you have time you could still add ev. Corvatsch the same day. Details see …stmoritz.ch/winter/en/skipass-inclusive/
There are also some nice winter hikes or combinations, e.g. visit Diavolezza in the morning and have lunch on the panorama terrace, then upon coming down hike into the Morteratsch valley for the views - a nice and rather even, well groomed path - but you still need good shoes for all this, it's winter after all!
Also it depends on the car you are driving, if it is equipped for winter roads. I would not venture in the higher areas without winter tires in April.
