I am planning to surprise my daughter on her birthday with tickets to see Pink at the Bell Center in Montreal this December. We looked at the schedule of events and looks like there will be 2 Canadiens games the weekend before the concert, so I'm hoping my husband and son will join us and take in a game.
We were thinking about spending 5 nights in Montreal, Friday to Wednesday. There are two NHL games, one on Saturday and one on Monday... .how hard is it to get tickets to the games?
Also, we would like to stay in a hotel near the Bell Centre. So I know St. Catherine Street will be close by and Mommy (me) will be happy with that. But I need to plan other stuff for the kids and hubby.... Can you make some recommendations?
My hubby and son are big hockey fans, so maybe visit the Canadiens Hall of Fame? I am hearing alot about the Biodome. How far is it from downtown? Would you recommend the bus for getting around? What else? To do and to eat?
Is a taxi the best way to get from the air port to downtown? Do hotels offer shuttles? recommendations for a hotel? Maybe something with a pool?
Thanks.... would love any and all recommendations.
We are budget conscious for sure, always are.
