Hi

We're coming to Montreal at the beginning of July to visit my stepdaughter who's moving out there in March. Can anyone give me some ideas for hotels (good quality) that are great for kids, and things to do with kids when we're there. We're expecting to stay about 5 days.

So much to do in July! Here's a link (at the bottom)with some great ideas for things to do (and where to stay) with kids in Montreal. A couple of personal tips of my own:

1. Stay in the Old Port area, if possible (close to all kinds of fun and interesting things to do). The Hotel Nelligan is my favorite hotel in this area (check the reviews, as well).

2. If your 11 year old likes roller coasters, we have La Ronde - a six flags amusement park on its own island.

3. The "Just for Laughs" festival is usually happening at the time you'll be here..there are lots of shows or you can just head to St. Denis Street for some outdoor fun.
