Does anybody know how to get from the airport to the Delta Centre-Ville (on Universitie) by taking the Metro?

Uh, the métro doesn't go all the way to the airport. In fact, public transit to the airport is pretty dreadful, but here's what you need to do:

1) Take the 204 Cardinal direction Est (to the Gare Dorval bus station)

2) From there, take the 211 East (To Lionel Groulx Métro stop)

3) From there, take the Orange Line direction Montmorency

4) Get off at the 4th stop, Place Victoria

5) Out of the métro, turn right, walk down the long hallway, turn right again into Square Victoria, make your way upstairs, then to the Delta Hotel.

Someday, we'll have a rail link to the airport, but for now, taxi or shuttlebus really is the best solution.

There is no direct line. You would have to take one of the public buses to a metro then take the metro to nearest stop. Just take a taxi, its not worth the hassle.

I hate taxis, which is why I'm trying to avoid them.

Would it make sense to take the Aerobus to Berri Central Terminal and take that to the Place Victoria stop?

Shuttle bus to Berri, then metro to either McGill (exit Union St) or Place-des-Arts (exit at Berri St).

Square Victoria is closest metro station to the Delta on University.

Thanks. So I should be able to take the Aerobus from the airport to the Berri, then the Berri to Square Victoria?

Yes, misuframart.

victorine: the 2 subway stations I mentioned were litterally taken from Delta Centre-ville's website (www.deltamontreal.com/english/location.html). I guess they should amend it then.

To Eirelover: Yes they should amend it. It could be confusing for visitors. The two stations they mention are close to the Delta on Sherbrooke St. West.

One more:

The shuttle from airport might stop at the Queen Elizabeth hotel which is within walking distance to your hotel. Maybe another TA could confirm this. Or Google search aerobus or aeroport de montreal.
