Hi all,

What's Caesar's like? What are the table minimums usually? Any free drinks while gambling? Is it 24 hrs?

Hi trippymea;

Due to the laws in the Province of Ontario, alcoholic drinks can not be provided free of charge at the casino.

Yes, the gaming area is open 24 / 7

Best Regards

It's really nice - not as big as the one in Vegas (but is anything as big as it is in Vegas?!). The drinks are not free, unfortunately. During the weekdays you can usually find $10 minimum on black jack but it goes up to $15 at least at night and on the weekends. The people are friendly, it's close to downtown and across from the Detroit river - which is a nice view.

Stick to Vegas. It amazes me people rave about Windsor saying it is the same as Vegas. NOT EVEN CLOSE. You must understand less volume of people means less payouts. The percentage of gambling payback is more than 4% less than LasVegas. Windsor is a community on the straits with high unemployment and a very bleak outlook. The casino has capitolized on this over the past 10 months and have reduced pay outs and reduced normal comping procedures. Vegas is hungry for business as visitation is down and the paybacks to gamblers for the last 4 months has increased. This is NOT true in Windsor.

Of course it isn't like Vegas.....we only have the one casino (and no Bellagio fountains!), but it's still a fun time. Like everything else in life, it is what you make of it. I don't know if I could spend 4 days at Caesers Windsor, but then I'm not a huge gambler. I wasn't when I travelled to Vegas either......which by the way, didn't pay out much either!!!!!!! And Windsor itself still has a few things to offer.....we have an International Bluesfest coming up July 16-18 which is right on the riverfront, and our nightlife is great too.....regardless of age, there's something for everyone.

No, it's certainly not Vegas, but it is the nicest Casino I've been to in Ontario.
