Restaurant help for tomorrow!

Meeting friends, they are at the Radisson and we are at the Hilton. What would be a good restaurant in the vacinity? Good menu selection, nothing cultural really, and in the $25 average range for a dinner? I don't have lot of time to research. Would either hotel have something that would meet these requirements? Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't bet on either hotel having a good restaurant in that price range. Within easy walking distance of both hotels in that price range is the Pitt for Pasta. Excellent Italian fare (if you call that cultural, sorry). Also within walking distance is "The Beer Market". The Chatham Street Grill is also within walking distance (although I am not sure of their price range). The Bistro in Dieppe Park is right across the street from your hotels. The Casino Buffet is outstanding and is in that $25.00 range!

I hope you enjoy your stay!

I did have a little time to check some restaurants. What about the Papa Cheney Whiskey Well? It looked pretty close, and the Uptown Restaurant (not nearby) was recommended for Windsor's best breakfast. What do you think? Thanks for the help! I have been to Windsor a couple times, but we didn't eat out.

I know that Papa Cheney's is very popular with the 25 - 35 crowd, but really don't know anything about their food selection. As the name suggests, it is mostly known as a drinking/bar/pub atmosphere. The Uptown is a very popular place for breakfast. It is about 3 - 4 miles from your hotels (but very easy to get to). It is a smaller restaurant. If you get there and you find it too busy, right across the street (on the other corner) is the Lumberjack which also has amazing breakfasts!

The Keg (very nice steakhouse) is next door to the hotels (great view) and you can get something there for around $25. Maybe not including a few drinks & tip, but the food is excellent.
