 Best Last-Minute Companies

I wasn't sure where to post this so I chose a couple of different forums. For those of you who travel last-minute. What tools/companies do you find help you get the best value (prices, etc.)?

Thanks, Everyone!

Hi;

I would suggest reading about what people have to say about Expedia.ca, here on TA.

Go to the Canada forum;

tripadvisor.com/ShowForum-g153339-i49-Canada…

Just down from the top of the page, in a green bar, you will see the title “Canada Forum”. Just below that green bar, there is a search feature. In the blank box type in "Expedia.ca". This will bring up a list of the many postings about service issues with Expedia.ca

Sorry, I can’t be of any more help.

Best Regards

Um... Expedia is not a last-minute company, so that's kind of beside the point.

Dutchie, I would simply Google "last minute" and check out what the various companies - selloffvacations.com, travellastminute.ca, etc. are offering. Most of them are likely selling the same Air Transat packages to the same all-inclusive resorts. Compare and contrast, and choose the dates and prices that work best for you.

Have a friend who just used itravel2000.com and was quite pleased with the results. Caveat emptor, as always. (i.e., don't believe there is actually such a thing as a 5* resort in Cuba, if you've ever stayed at a real 5* resort..) Just do your research.

Dutchie,

I like exitnow.ca and travelzoo.ca, cheaptickets.com as well as kayak.com for somethings. I also sign up to airline web sites such as west jet.Got 50% off air to maui that way.

Sorry meant to add...exitnow.ca also offers "deals of the day" a time limited offer for vacation pkgs. including both last minute and later travels. Some I've seen were very attractive and it changes daily. This is in addition to their last minute "deals" page which pops up first.

I've used selloffvacations.com a few times. They have offices all across Ontario.
