I have the Holiday Inn By The Falls on Murray St booked for one night in January. I decided on this hotel due to it being directly across the street from the Fallsview Casino as I will be attending a concert. I was going to book ether the Comfort Inn or Best Western but settled on the Holiday Inn. Anyone stay there? How old is this hotel?
It seems to get very favorable reviews..........most people comment on the close proximity to the Casino and short walk to the Falls, as well as the free parking.........
The hotel is older, maybe the 60's but has been added onto several times and renovated. Popular with lots of folks including a great many bus tour groups. I wouldn't hesitate.

Great choice in that price range... the private balconies are a nice bonus.
I booked via their site and got a rate with taxes for $94 for the night. Being it is going to be the middle of winter and attending a concert at Fallsview Casino, I wanted to be close by and not a long walk. So seeing as it is directly across the street, makes it real convenient. Wondered how old it was and what the rooms were like. Been since the 90's that I stayed in The Falls. Used to party back then at Rumours on our side and Pleasuredome on the USA side. So staying in the Fallsview area is new to me. Thanks for the replies!
