The Seneca Casino is located at the old convetion centre which is a 5 min walk from the Rainbow Centre; there use to be indoor walkways to that location via the Winter Garden Centre.

Don't be surprised if you get a bit of a hassle from the US Customs. My neighbour walks across the bridge frequently and she gets hassled all the time. The Canadian Customs are a bit easier and they will be mainly concerned about anything you bought. I usually just use my passport for crossing but I live in the Falls; you may want to contact Canada Customs to verify if you need to bring your hotel confirmation as well.

The Seneca casino is as mentioned a fairly short walk from the bridge. Weather conditions of course are to be considered.

It's a bit depressing on the U.S.A. side though.

Not nearly as well kept as the Canadian side.

The casino smells of smoke (even the no smoking section), if that matters to you at all.

The Ontario casinos are much nicer.

Niagara Falls New York has a disturbingly high crime rate, if that matters to you at all.

No need to have confirmed reservations for customs to look at.

Your passport is all you need.

Vegas2007, if you're a Canadian citizen you most certainly do _not_ need a hotel reservation to show to the Canadian border guard. Under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, "Every citizen of Canada has the right to enter, remain in and leave Canada." You could cross the US-Canada border into Saskatchewan knowing no one in that province and having no idea where you'd go and they'd have to let you in.

As a visitor to the US, US officials may enquire about your travel plans and some of their paperwork asks for the address of your first night stay. And they do need to be convinced that you'll return to Canada in a timely fashion; a hotel reservation on the Canadian side could help with that though it'd be rare that they'd get as far as asking to see it.

if you are Canadian, you'll get back in for sure, it just may take longer if you do not have the right documentation.....save yourself time and have the right documents.....

The correct 'documents' is the passport that he already has. NOTHING else required.

We will decide when the date comes depending on the weather. Wouldn't mind just checking out the Seneca Casino even though it may not match up to our two on our side of The Falls. We won't be buying anything seen as we are not driving, the Outlet Mall is a bit of a drive.
