Cost of Meals for 5 Days in Mississauga

Hi, upcoming business trip to Mississauga and I would like to know how much it will cost for breakfast lunch and dinner per day on average. We eat just about anything and we are on a budget so I'm looking for restaurant recommendations around the meadow vale area. Any feedback will be appreciated.

If you go to a place like Tim Horton's/McDonald's for fast food breakfast,$6.00 or so per person, lunch approx. $10-15, depending of course where you go and what you eat...sit down or fast food....dinner double that, again where you go........will you have a car? this will open up eating options......................what Hotel are you staying in?..........this will help to give you restaurant suggestions...............Mississauga is a very large city, on the outskirts of Toronto..............how long are you staying for, and are you travelling there soon?

A terribly open-ended question....Location is very important as is your mobility (driving or public transit)...especially in Mississauga as it is so spread out...

You should be able to manage on $50 a day - less if you only eat fast food.

The OP said "Meadowvale area"; hope they'll have a car. The estimates from Eden and Rob and Cathy sound about right to me.

If you're on a budget you can get away for under $20 a day but we're talking a muffin and coffee at Tim Horton's in the morning for $3.

You could do lunch and get a pizza slice and a coke for $5.

For dinner you could hit a diner/greasy spoon and have a burger and fries or a souvlaki dinner for about $10.

But this is stretching it to the limit. As the others suggested, $50 a day is not a bad starting point to budget your meals.

I ate dinner at this place a few times while visiting in June.


Really great food at a reasonable price.
