I'm coming up to Churchill by train arriving on a saturday morning. Do any of the car rental places have a counter at the train station?

No there are no car rentals at the train station. You need to contact Tamarack Rentals @ 204-675-2192. Depending on the time of year you may want to do that before you come up.
