Hi grivna ~

Which ferry will you be arriving on? The Clipper? If it's the Clipper, you've got a 600 metre walk, for about 8-10 minutes. Here's the walking map from the Clipper dock.

You are just racking up the points, my friend! :-)

BC ferries do not arrive in Victoria, rather at Swartz Bay about 40 min north of Victoria. It would be helpful to know if you are using a car or public transit. Or are you using Pacific Coach Lines?

Hi grivna ~

This is how you take the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria.

First, you take public transport from downtown Vancouver to Tsawwassen ferry terminal. This is an hour's journey. You take Canada Line to Bridgeport Station. Then you transfer to the #620 bus called Tsawwassen ferry terminal and ride it to the ferry terminal. The cost will be either $5.50 or $2.75, depending on the day of the week. $2.75 will be for Saturday and Sunday.

Now, you buy your ferry ticket at the ticket booth and walk on the ferry for the 1.5 hour ride.

After the ferry arrives at Swartz Bay, you get off the ferry and walk to the passenger area on the street. There you will pay $2.50 exact fare in coins on the #70 bus and ride it for an hour into downtown Victoria. You take the bus to Government and Superior Street. Get off the bus and walk about 5 minutes to Menzies St and your hotel.

Here is a map for public transit from downtown Vancouver to Tsawwassen terminal: http://goo.gl/maps/OxFu9
