Tour Company Recommendation for Victoria

We will be in Vancouver in Early August and have one day available to visit Victoria. We are thinking of using a tour company to maximize our efficiency. The two companies that appear to have one day trips are "Landsea Tours" and "West Coast Sightseeing" Does anyone have any experience with either of these and can you recommend one over the other? Thanks!

Victoria is very easy to on your own. You really don't need a tour. You can go downtown to downtown on Pacific Coast Lines and everything you would want to see is right there.

I think Landsea has slightly more favourable reviews:

Landsea with 85% excellent: tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g154943-d2…

West Coast Sightseeing with 73% excellent: tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g154943-d1…

Landsea is way better because they go downtown first allowing more time to look around and then go to the gardens when its less busy. I've done both and I'd suggest Landsea

Don't use a tour company -- Victoria isn't very big

Its not the 'tour' it the logistics. You have to get from your Vancouver hotel to Tswassen Ferry, about a 45 minute drive. You need to get from the ferry to downtown, about a 30 minute drive. Then you need to get to Butchart Gardens which is 30 minutes from downtown and finally back to the ferry. Without a 'tour' you will spend a majority of your time waiting for buses or other slow means to get there. While a 'tour' may not be needed if you were in Victoria and had a few days to play around as a day trip from Vancouver it is the most practical way.
