Fri 11th Icefields Parkway drive (Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Viewpoint at big bend and Columbia Icefields (ice walk)). Stay Lake Louise.
I think the above part of the trip is pretty sorted. But i have a few last questions about the last bit of the trip:
^^Sat 12th Drive to Revelstoke. On route visit Yoho National Park including Emerald Lake, Takakkaw Falls, Natural Bridge and Spiral Tunnel Viewpoint. Walks- Giant Cedars, Skunk Cabbage. Stay Revelstoke.^^
Do you think Revelstoke is the best place to stay on this part of our journey? Have we crammed too much in to this day, as i think the driving time this day is 3hrs.
^^Sun 13th Walks in Mount Revelstoke National Park – eg Meadows in the Sky. Drive South at Sicamous along Mara Lake (picnic in Park) to Naramata. Stay Naramata at Paradise Cove Guest House.^^
Are all the walks along the route between Lake Lou and Revelstoke. If they are we are stuck with what to do this day, would the drive be enough?? Is Revelsoke itself worth walking around?
^^Mon 14th Explore Okanagan Valley - Spotted Lake, Kettle Valley Steam Railway. Stay Naramata at Paradise Cove Guest House.^^
Any other suggestions for things to do in the Okanagan Valley?
Tues 15th Explore Okanagan Valley. Visit Burrowing Owls Winery in Oliver. Stay Naramata at Paradise Cove Guest House.
Wed 16th Drive to Vancouver via Princeton, visiting Manning Park and Hedley, aiming to arrive at 18.00. Drop off hire car. Stay Van. We are going to a wedding in Van so that side of trip is sorted.
Thanks for help
