Apparently they have recently changed their name to Great Divide Lodge. I've never stayed there, but you can find their reviews here:

It's right next to the Trans-Canada Highway, on the opposite side of the highway from Wapta Lake and roughly halfway between Lake Louise and Field, BC; there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance, aside from anything that might be offered on-site.

its not a good location for much. Its most of the way to Yoho National Park and on a busy hwy. The name is very deceptive. If your looking for a place to stay on the way to Yoho it makes sense but if you think your staying at LL by staying here you will be very dissapointed.

The Great Divide Lodge is a very affordable, very simple place to stay - it's a step above a youth hostel. It's popular with hikers who are looking for a cheap place to stay when hiking in Yoho and Lake Louise. If you decide to stay, you'll want to pack a cooler and bring supplies and food with you.

As an alternative, the Mountaineer Lodge in Lake Louise does have "walk-in" rates as low as $139. The Lake Louise Inn offers "walk-in" rates of roughly $179 to $189 if they have vacancy. These are the rates you can usually get when you simply show-up without a reservation, dependent on availablilty. Both of these properties are great alternatives when staying in Lake Louise. Check with the information centre in Banff or Lake Louise to find out rates and availability when you arrive.

Also - know that there is more variety for budget accommodation in Banff. You can find Bed and Breakfasts around $100. Motels/hotels starting at $130. Many visitors base themselves out of Banff when visiting the National Park - including a visit to Lake Louise.
