I will be on a Greyhound bus departing from El Centro, CA. to Mexicali, Mx., a 50 minute ride. It will stop for 10 minutes for immigration/border crossing at Calexico,Ca., then continue into Mexicali, arriving 3:05pm at the Greyhound bus station on 460 State Street. I need to make a connection to the "new" ABC bus station 'close to the border'. It is located in the Mexicali Terminal Turistica, Av Mexico No 343, Esq. Calzada A. Lopez Mateos. I want to take the 4pm ABC bus to San Felipe. Would it be better to get off the Greyhound at the border crossing, go through immigration, cross into Mexicali on foot, and walk to the ABC bus station? Is it right over the border, an easy walk? Or should I take Greyhound to its bus station on State St, and then take a taxi to ABC? I'm heading for San Felipe and can't miss the 4pm bus. This will be my first trip to Mexicali. I have no idea how far the Greyhound bus station is from the ABC bus station.
